The outdoor exhibition hall of the National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage is a friendly space where the beautiful view of the sea, traditional vessels, and playgrounds for children exist in harmony. There are multiple life-size traditional vessels anchored in the sea, such as the "Onnubi", a Goryeo wares transport ship, the "Jounseon", a grain transport ship from the Joseon dynasty, the "Joseon Tongshinsa ship" for the diplomatic missionaries of Joseon, the "Bonghwang", a modern porcelain transport ship, and more.
